Pastor Aaron Anderson

Pastor Aaron Anderson is a Spirit-filled man of great character. His transparent nature and his obedience to God has been integral to a blossoming ministry that seeks to help people find meaning and direction in life by pushing them to a relationship with God through
Jesus Christ.

A native of Surry County, VA, Pastor Aaron was born to Mr. Wilton Lee Anderson (deceased) and Carrie A. Swarn. He attended the public schools of Surry County, Virginia, graduating as valedictorian of Surry County High School class of 1992. He then went on to
matriculate at Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA, earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mathematics/Physics minor in 1996.

Pastor Aaron was licensed to preach the Gospel in 2009 by Rev. Dr. Raymond A Bell, Jr. at Mount Hope Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, VA.  In 2010, he earned a Masters of Divinity Degree from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

It was in February 2010, that God led Pastor Aaron to meet with 5 families in his home, and introduce them to the vision that God had given him in 2008, while a student at Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology. He shared his dream of forming a ministry that seeks to help people see themselves the way God sees them. What began in 2008 as a group class project to build a church on paper, God breathed life into it and “New Vision Ministries” was born.

As the Founder and Pastor of New Vision Ministries, God has blessed Pastor Aaron with the capacity to minister a timely, relevant, and seasoned word to many. As a result, the influence of his ministry, both itinerant and local, has broken through denominational and cultural barriers.

His ministry is supported, strengthened, and shared by his wife Shaunta’ Anderson, who serves as the Co-Pastor of New Vision Ministries, and their two beautiful daughters Aurielle and Aliyah. Together they reside in Fredericksburg, Va.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching basketball/football. If he could only share one Word of encouragement it would be, “Oh Taste and See that the Lord is Good!”
